Course Description

In this ten-minute nano learning course, we'll examine the critical distinctions between Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI) - which excels at specific tasks - and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) - which remains theoretical but promises human-like reasoning across all domains. Through practical examples drawn from accounting workflows, you'll learn to evaluate AI tools based on their actual capabilities rather than marketing claims, ensuring technology investments align with professional needs while maintaining appropriate skepticism about AI limitations.

Learning Objectives

  1. Differentiate between the major branches of artificial intelligence (AGI, ANI, machine learning, and deep learning) and their practical applications in the professional environment.
